Many of us spend long hours sitting at the desk behind screens, often moving very little in between. Sitting has been called to be the “new smoking” and not without a reason. Movement is essential to physical and emotional wellbeing and mindfulness has the potential to bring calmness and clarity to your work- and personal life. We aim to give you a tool-box of "mindful movement snacks" that can be implemented off the mat, also to your life behind the desk.
Yoga* and mindfulness at work offers an opportunity to connect to your colleagues off the desk and has the potential to alleviate stress, increase productivity and improve your physical and mental wellbeing. Each class is designed to alleviate tension in different areas that are often getting “stuck” after sitting for long periods of time. Our teachers will guide you through movement sessions that aim to release tension in the neck, shoulders, hips, back, and eyes. Build strength, mobilize and balance -both physically and mentally. Sessions will end with a final relaxation, bringing you back to work with a refreshed mind and body.
